Arrrrrrrg! I’ve lived in one of these custom-designed “little miracles” … the only miracle is that Tokyoites can survive under such oppressive conditions.
I stayed in the TRIANGULAR 5-story, Fudeya restaurant and Takayama family home — each side being only 3 meters.
The place had triangular furniture that is custom, triangular stairs that are custom, and —hell— the futons were triangular. I swear my head became pointy during my triangular homestay there with the Takayama family.
