Bobby Fischer is FREE Thursday! Is April 1st early?
Bobby Fischer is wanted for tax evasion as well as for violating sanctions imposed on the former Yugoslavia. Iceland, like Japan, has an extradition treaty with United States. I wonder how this will play out in Washington and Reykjavik.

John Bosnitch of the Committee to Free Bobby Fischer, a supporter of former chess champion Bobby Fischer, said Wednesday, March 23, 2005, that the Japanese Justice Ministry has informed them Fischer will be allowed to leave Japan for Iceland on Thursday.
