Synthetic musk found accumulating in marine life

As I’ve mentioned before in “The Attack of the Endocrine Disrupters,” these nasty “musk” compounds are put in many personal care products. There’re hormone-like (endocrine disrupting) compounds that are found in Japanese tap water as well as in seafood. Japan’s food chain is so clogged with toxins that disrupt normal balance of hormones that it’s common to catch hermaphrodite fish from ponds and lakes here.
