Summit a ‘cosplay’ cornucopia of fans, oddballs
AICHI, Japan—In one of the wackier events to be staged at the expo, Sunday saw the finals of the World Cosplay Summit. The culmination of months of events staged all over Japan and in select overseas sites, the competition saw 10 costume-play [cosplay] contestants per category square off in individual and group fields. The event, sponsored by TV Aichi, has been staged annually since 2003.
