Demand for vile Japanese kerosene drops
Tokyo Kerosene Falls on Weaker Heating Fuel Demand: World’s Biggest Mover
Oct. 5 — Kerosene futures in Tokyo fell as much as 2.7 percent, the biggest fluctuation of any commodity market today…Kerosene inventories in Japan have risen for the past four weeks, according to data compiled by the Petroleum Association of Japan…. Kerosene is used to heat Japanese homes.

Unvented kerosene heaters foul Japanese homes and offices poisonous fumes since, for the most part, the Japanese haven’t invented central heating yet (as well as dual-pane windows, insulation and vapor bariors). These heaters without chimneys pump CO directly into the living space. It is like pissing in your kitchen sink: You can get away with it, but it ain’t exactly wise.
I’m please to hear the finally the demand for kerosene is dropping in Japan….It’s about time, sheesh.
