Gadgets galore at the Ceatec show—This is Hitachi’s Media Robot, a voice-controlled device that recommends TV shows according to a person’s viewing habits
The 2005 CEATEC electronics show is in full swing at Makuhari, Chiba un east suburban Tokyo. CEATEC is Asia’s largest electronics trade show and I think Hitachi’s high-tech voice-controlled rabbit ear antenna takes the prize for “the cuteness.” Called the Lapinou(tm), it may have one catch: Do you have to speak Lagomorph Japanese to to make it work?
