Apple’s iPod has taken almost 60 per cent of the Japanese portable digital music player market, the company claimed today, citing local news source Business Computer News (BCN). The iPod leads its nearest – alas unnamed – rival by a “wide margin”, it added…..
Of course that “unnamed rival” is Sony.
Sony is dead in the digital music market software-, content-, and hardware-wise. Sony has given up and and is now aiming for the cellphone music download market where the Apple/Motorola has infamously failed product, the Rockr(tm) music cellphone.
