because of copyright problems the Frechn Mint had to sell nearly the whole mintage (~90-95%) to Japan. So these coins are really rare outside of Japan. If these prices are too expensive for you then you will wonder how much they cost in Europe (e.g. if available in a shop about 850 Euro for the 10 euro coin). But you can still purchase some of these coins directly and cheaper if you are not in Japan, Germany or Italy. The 10 euro gold coin is sold out at the French Mint. If you are in Japan, I think, it’ll be cheaper for you to purchase the coins at the official japanese sites.
