Here’s a weird online collection of life-size cardboard cutouts of Japanese pop idols. These lifesize standups for advertising can be found everywhere in stores and shopping districts.
I especially like the Pink Lady series of life-size cheesecake. Although the website is only in Japanese, just click on the links in the middle of the page labeled, “Gallery01,” “Gallery02,” etc. The cutouts are often unnerving. Enjoy getting creeped out.
