An Odd Pairing At Tokyo Zoo

Tokyo, Japan (AHN)— This is certainly an odd couple: a 3.5-inch dwarf hamster and a 120 yard-long rat snake share the same cage at Tokyo’s Mutsugoro Okoku Zoo.
The pair were introduced when the hamster Gohan, (Japanese for ‘meal’), was put in Aochan the snake’s cage as dinner. Instead of indulging, Aochan decided to make friends with the rodent. The two have shared a cage ever since. The two …more…
