ASIAN- GIRLS with GUNS—Japanese B movies. female assassins, lady cops and of course the Miniskirt Police aka minisukapolice (ミニスカポリス ).

Opps: I forgot to mention that the Miniskirt Police started as a late-night TV sketch in the 90s—–very mainstream. Initially, the police girls “arrested” men who double-parked, jay-walked, etc. in sort a pubic service annoucement performing acts of charity (yonaoshi, “social improvement”) to unsuspecting bystanders similiar the “Hard Gay” aka “HG レイザーラモン.” In their beginning, the Minisukapolice were not some direct-to-video porn concept. However, like the Minisukapolice soon became a Japanese mega-fad and their one-pattern joke part of Japanese cultural history.
