Sankt Gallen Brewery in Atsugi is selling Valentine special brewing beer Imperial Chocolate Stout (tm).
I heard Imperial Chocolate Stout being promoted on the pseudo-English radio station here in Tokyo, interFM on the “K.C. with HIROMI” show.
I’d say this was a ONLY-IN-JAPAN situation but actually the Chocolate Bear Beer bitter is from Belgium and packaged for the Japanese market. Better yet, a few years ago the BBC had a story about a chocolate beer being introduced in London. And in the Chicago Sun-Times of February 8 of this year reports of, “Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock(tm), which will be on Chicago area liquor store shelves just in time for Valentine’s Day.”
