World’s tallest storey is destined to have a premature ending
The Times— THE world’s tallest building will get the go-ahead next week, but the 610m-high (2,100ft) Sumida Tower will hold the lofty title for only a few weeks….even were construction of the tower to start tomorrow, it would enjoy only a brief reign at the top of the world: its projected completion date in 2009 is very close to that of the Burj Dubai, which will be at least 80m taller…..…more…
Concrete-blested of Tokyo looks like SF film‘Blade Runner’ on a bad hair day, but at least Japan is feeling bubbly after 15 years of the “Lost Decade” recession since the Bubble (baburu keizai ãƒãƒ–ル経済) of the late 1980s—early 1990s.
