Japan has about the world’s highest rate of stomach cancer, and sucking down hot noodles laden with MSG is one of the major causes (along with stress, alcoholism, and most importantly, bad indigenous digestive bacterial flora).

Gal Sone is a kick to watch, like Kobayashi and other winners, she has an unusual connection to the lower intestine allowing her stomach to expand to almost 15x its original size! They also found these competitors have a crazy metabolism, this I don't understand as much, but it was all in Japanese.. so yeah. Anywho, I could dawg America all day if you mentioned an American celebrity, hell we lead most the other charts like deaths by guns and "morons who pay income taxes that are un-constitutional", Bush etc. Oh, and "binge" eaters can't control their urges and often vomit, or "purge" after doing so. That girl did not only eat 22 bowls of noodles. It was part of a three-day contest. The first day she ate 2kg mozugu seaweed (20 bowls) and 35 pork sausages (3,5 kg). The second day say ate 4 kg kakikome rice (27 bowls) and 116 fried shrimps (3,5kg)! And the last day, the 22 bowls of noodles. Horrible! I saw this terrible show on TV Tokyo.
