I think I first saw this oxygen “news” story in 1969—evey few months it pops up. Actually, Tokyo air is fairly clean and this canned oxygen is a very rare item. The TRUE purpose of these oxygen cans is the help cure hangovers (most salarymen have drinking problem). This canned oxygen sells at 998 yen a can…That’s almost 10 bucks for can of nothing but air—sales are not going to be massive. Oddly the name O2 SUPLRI ™ is already owned by Kirin Beer company for a soft drink.
