Sony to launch wireless broadband gadget in US
TOKYO (AFP) August 8, 2006 - Sony has said it will market in the United States a first-of-a-kind wireless broadband device allowing users to exchange online voice and text messages, browse the Internet and listen to music. Sony is going to sell Milo drinks, hee, hee. Actually, Sony has been flogging Mylo since 2001 as a pricey service but now they are claiming to be making the system open. In theory, I would be first in line to buy this device. But given Sony’s history as the maker of worst-in-the-world computer software full of DRM viruses…maybe I would wait until after Christmas to see how users are “enjoying” their Mylo experience.

The point of the Mylo is that has free Skype and an Opera browser for people who want a free cellphone/texting and hang out in a free WiFi cloud on campus or Starbucks. The PSP is not Skype phone and its stylus input in the browser sucks.
As much as I hate the evil assmonkeys at Sony, I’d buy a Mylo but that small screen is stopping me—I wish the whole Mylo device was twice the size (but not the weight).
Can the Mylo be used with PSP games? I don’t see any mention of it anywhere.
