Here’s a typical Akihabara scene.
“Akiba” as it is now called was formerly known as “Electric Town” but now it is known for kink—Note the infestation of “Moe” (萌え, literally ‘budding’, as with a plant) which is Japanese slang for all things fetishism related, anime, maids, love dolls, Hello Kitty buttplugs, etc.
Strangly, whenever I read “moe” all I can think of is this Moe of the Three_Stooges.
