He has tried for years to form a group--he's put up ads in the trade magazines and online with no luck---nobody can match his manic magic. His work on Björk's Medúlla (2004) and the soundtrack to the video game We ♥ Katamari (2005) looked like he made a breakthrough, but sadly he's now back to working in the video store and 'playing with himself' in his one-room apartment in Shin-Okibo, Tokyo.
