“Merii Kurisumasu!”
How do you say “Merry Christmas” in Japanese?
Japanese folks just say it in English with Japanese pronunciation: “Merii Kurisumasu!” (メリークリスマス!)
Strangely to my American ears, “Happy Christmas” (ハッピー・クリスマス), the old Britishism, is heard in Japan too. More on why-how for using “Happy.” see Wikipedia’s: “Merry Christmas” entry. Merry is better: It can mean drunk to the Brits.
Anyway, for single women in Japan it is really crucial to have someone to spend Christmas eve with. It is important for them where they spend Christmas eve, what present they receive, and that they get laid. The whole evening must be very special, gorgeous and “romantic” hee, hee.
Enjoy a traditional Japanese Kurisumasu!

Or as I reminded by Chidade in everyday.3yen in J-Pop slang it’s “Meri Kuri!” (メリクリ).
