Japan’s MVA 2006 “BEST CONCEPT MUSIC VIDEO Winner”
Gifted. Eccentric. Precocious.
SUTORONGU/Strongmachine machine No. 2
Occupation: The fifth grader in elementary school
Specialties: dance, karate (black belt) and calligraphy, and sutras can be said. Future dream of being a dancer, an entertainer, an artist, and Buddhist priest [like her father "Strongmachine machine No. 1"] … Futures are so many and in such large numbers it’s troubling.
What’s a Strongmachine No. 2?
Well, she’s 5th grader, age 11, who does one hell of robot breakdance on Japanese music videos and TV. Starting just a few weeks ago, Strongmachine is now featured on the December release of Nintendo’s DS game software.
Here’s a piss-poor machine translation of Strongmachine’s (ストロングマシン2号) website.
