Our crack(ed) 3Yen reported, Kurohige-san felt compelled today to tell us about the changes in Tomy’s popular game Pop-Up Pirate (in Japanese “Kurohige”). Previously, this game has been the victim of a “Hard Gay” version and even an alien “Lilo & Stitch” UFO-esque adaptation. Now the Pop-Up Pirate game has gone full-circle with another make-over as a tie-in to the film Pirates of the Caribbean.

BUSINESS TODAY online, May 8……Every time the sword is inserted, Captain Jack Sparrow will scream out the famous lines from the movie such as, ‘Captain Jack Sparrow at your service’, ‘Oh, do get me out of here!’, ‘Yo-ho Yo-ho A pirates life for me’, ‘Not good! And I mean that!’, ‘Easy then! Easy!’, ‘Oh, no! Very bad! Very Bad!’ and ‘Cho-beri goo*!”…

The suggested retail price of the Pop-up Pirate Pirates of the Caribbean is 2,940 yen or about $25.00 USD although details of the game’s release outside Japan are not announced yet. For more details, visit Tomy’s Japanese Web site at takaratomy.co.jp.
