Gold Taxi car [sic] debuts in Nagoya
Kyodo News – Thursday, May 24, 2007 — The Fuji Taxi Group in Nagoya launched a gold-colored taxi on May 24 to run in the city for one year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the group’s founding.

It’s just gold paint but the mega-tacky folks in Nagoya (birthplace of pachinko) can ride the gold taxi for the regular charge and get a certificate showing they took a ride in it (which about as useless as a Gold Amex card vs the Green).
