Juiced Japanese EYEBALL in a can!
Yes that’s Japanese EYEBALL JUICE in a can!
Ahhh, it’s been a gr-r-reat summer for my reports on Japanese drinks, hasn’t it? First it was Japanese octopus-dumpling soda and then it was cucumber cola. And today, one of my mixi friends had this EYEBALL JUICE in a can to show me from her 21st birthday party.
The “eyeball” in question is of course the famous Eyeball Father, Medama Oyaji, the famous manga, anime, and movie series Ge Ge Ge Kitaro [ゲゲゲの鬼太郎 ]. The Eyeball juice is sold as novelty and the flavor is actually Japanese citrus yuzu (sort of a sour mandarin/grapefruit).
