Meanwhile at the same time, the Japanese are showing the love by celebrating at Yasukuni (war criminal) Shrine 62nd anniversary of their victory of World War II. The Yasukuni enshrines 14 Class-A war criminals as well as about Japanese war dead (along with a few Korean and Chinese dead). Japan is not going to get any cooperation from Korean as long as they continue celebrating their “victory.”

When will Korea thank Japan for the financial contributions in building up the country during the “Japanese Forced Occupation Period”? Japan spent 30 percent of its funds in improving Korea during this time.
The Koreans originally wanted to tag along with Japan, but as soon as Japan lost in World War II, the Koreans started accusing Japan for forcefully taking over the nation.
I don’t think Korea is going to get any love from Japan for as long as they continue ridiculing Japan and begging for apologies hundreds of times.
Taiwan never seems to mimic Korea and China in these matters despite the Japanese occupation of Taiwan between 1895-1945…
