Tokyo on the Thames
Here’s the indie group Athlete busking their song “Tokyo” in front of the Design Museum on banks of the Thames last November on 15th (2006). Athlete hail from south London and they are performing here for the homeless relief project Crisis.
Their song is bit odd in that “Tokyo” seems unrelated to the lyrics… I am Tokyo / I am here / I am blazing lights on your street. / I’m an upstart / Bound to cross you / I’m the hypocrite / By your side….
