Robot dog catcher debuts in Japan
My friend Mulboyne spotted this new Japanese “ROBO CATCHER” (ロボキャッチャー) that is a K-kool variation on the Japanese “UFO Catcher.” These arcade games based on a claw vending machine or toy crane machine that lets the player manipulate the controls for a minute or less trying to grab a prize, usually plush toys such as teddy bears (or occasionally more sinisterly, live animals such as lobsters or turtles are the prize).

See the full-sized photo and read more about the Japanese “Lobster Catcher” at bigonjapan.com.

See the report with video and pictures of the “Baby Catcher” at NBC News.
