Japanese ideas of what is “pornography” are unique.
Japanese censorship laws prohibit genitals from being seen but otherwise they are able to express anything… rape and slashing of pregnant teen nuns is OK—Mapplethorpe’s artsy-fartsy, black and white, gay photos like my parody below is not. Sheesh.
