Previously, I have written about Japanese art trucks or as they’re called Dekotora meaning ‘decoration truck’ in Japanese.

Well today, Pink Tentacle has YouTube video of dekochari –in this case ‘deko’ means decoration and ‘chari’ means bicycle. Pink Tentacle describes these bikes as, “the ride of choice for hardcore dekotora fans that are too young to drive…[like]…Japan’s celebrated art trucks, dekochari typically feature large front bumpers, ornate luggage racks, rear-mounted boxes that resemble truck trailers, colorful paint jobs, lots of chrome, and sophisticated electric light displays….”
