I think the results have to do with how much of a taboo sex is in your country. The one’s in the top all are suppressing there urges, being catholic, or generally conservative. And I don’t know how it is in Japan or Asia, but here in Sweden, there is almost no drama around sex, and we are so liberal so some of the excitement about sex is gone. There is no ‘base system’ or ‘date before you do anything’ thing going on here like in the US and eastern/western Europe. A normal relationship would start with a one night stand, that then evolved. Or you could just go from there to meet and do it ones and a while, with not to much emotions involved.

The problem is Japan has almost no sex taboos. Every, yes every street has some sort of mizushobai sex-related establishment. Japanese mothers wistfully pack lunches for their daughters sex weekends (silent sob wishing they were going—Japan has the world’s most “underserviced” housewives).
They one bad thing about this survey is language—there’s no way to translate it directly from English and not sound intrusive/insane/impolite. I suspect that cultural and language differences cause the Japanese to appear sexless. On the other hand, most Japanese wives freely admit to me they haven’t had sex since their last child (saaa, such a waste).

With the amounts of Hentai they have over there, no wonder they don’t have time for sex XD

Culture seem to be the vital point here and yes, lifestyle. I wonder if the survey included Cambodia. It probably can come #42, then maybe it might not.
