Ok, ok, this device could be a real boon to the blind and provide better remote sensing of the subtle variations between light and shadows. Previous sonar and radar devices for the blind did not offer realistic view of the world as the sighted see it, and the variations of light and shadow is one the primary tools of visual perception that this Tough-light-through-the-leaves device can offer.
