Demon Kato must have been the reincarnation of the Virginia Tech shooter…same mentality…same madness….

Same madness, slightly different clause.
The Virginia Tech shooter was a loser and social isolate, but he was not excluded from his chosen education and career path. Killer Kato on the other hand, felt entitled and blocked from his chosen career because of his screw up on the insanely complex Japanese college entrance exams and he ended up being shunted into an auto technical school program. If Kato wanted to go to university in America in an automotive engineering program, he would have been able to without the roadblocks that Japan automatically sets up for young people with a dream.

Like the Virginia Tech shooter, I'm sure that krazy Kato was also disliked by many of his peers. Kato looks and dressed very oddly compared to other Japanese guys who are 25 years old (to me he looks like a illegal Chinese immigrant over the age of 35). Check out the following analysis from the Japan Times...

Web posts track Kato's mental slide | The Japan Times Online
[Kato] repeatedly expressed a sense of loneliness and isolation on the site, according to police.
In entries made between February and June, Kato said: "There are people brimming with confidence although they have no reasons to feel that way. Frankly, I feel like killing them." He also wrote, "I'm in a mood to kill people regardless of who they are."
He also revealed himself to be deeply unhappy. One of the entries read, "I would be happy if I could die now and I feel like this very often." Another stated, "A person who is criticized is at least recognized to be a person who exists, but I'm just ignored because I'm so ugly."
Kato expressed a desire to find a partner, but he apparently believed this would never be fulfilled. "I've heard that you can have a chance at having a romance until you're 25, but I've passed that age. Admittedly, ugly guys do not have the right to enjoy any romance," he wrote. "I could never have a girlfriend because I can't control myself. Happiness is a dream out of my reach."
