This was an earthquake drill.
Last Sunday Tokyo marked the 85th anniversary of the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake—the Big One:
–100,000 to 142,000 deaths
–8.4 on the Richter scale
–Over 570,000 homes were destroyed, leaving an estimated 1.9 million homeless
–Managed to move the 93-ton statute of Buddha at Kamakura…. slid it forward almost two feet

    hey didn’t tell Fukuda it was just an exercise… somebody should ask him to come back.

    (I’m waiting for the official excuse, but beating the “explosive bloody diarrhea” from Abe last year will be really difficult, this guy really set the mark for the most ridiculous excuse available on earth, I mean, a bad schoolboy would not go further than saying the dog ate his homework, even I would not dare to say I shit blood during meetings so I can’t stay)

    Maybe they needed bobbleheads back on bobbleworld, so that’s why every few years there’s a massive exchange in prime ministers in Japan…..
    Either that or Lumberjack Ishihara really wants his son as PM….to further the Ishihara dynasty of controlling the Land of the Rising Blinkies?
