What could be freakier (and more desired by Japanese girls)?

My drinking buddy, the infamous Rob Pongi, sent me this heads-up about inventorspot.com’s post: Girls Get the Anime Look with Extra-Wide Contact Lenses.
That is, contact lenses with extra-wide tinted outer ring to give the look of a bigger, wider iris. To quote the sales copy, “Wanna get big, watery shiny eyes without any surgery? CRAVE AND ENVY NO MORE!”

    Thanks for coming after the public health official warning asking to be carefull about eyes infections concerning these lenses… (don’t remember if they restricted also the sales for minors)

    As the above poster mentioned, since these are sold over the counter without prescription there have been several dozen reports of eye problems resulting from these lenses, so use with caution!
