Encrusted in 300,000 pieces of Swarovski crystal this Mercedes-Benz SL600 sports car has been put on display in SOGO department store in Osaka….nominal price 40 million yen ($400,000 USD). It took the custom car marker Cactus Corporation about three months to decorate this Benz which has been driven for about 100km on public roads.
Kyodo – OSAKA, Oct. 28, 2008…‘We hope families and couples begin enjoying the Christmas ambiance well ahead of the actual holiday season,’’ a Sogo official said…. The car is not for sale but carries a nominal price tag of 40 million yen.
