Pioneer has finally decided to quit the LaserDisc business even though DVDs have been around since beginning of the 1990s. Wait. This isn’t a crazy as it sounds. LaserDiscs are used in the Japanese karaoke market quite a bit.

Pioneer is to stop making LaserDisc players. Yes – amazingly, perhaps – it’s still punching them out, and will produce 3000 more before calling it quits…more...
