Creepy long distance relationships with a robot doll

Here’s a robotic Mini-Me that’s best explained in one Japanese word “kimoi”–creepy!

February 6, 2009 – Daylife…Japan’s robot venture LittleIsland displays look-alike robot doll which has a “human-sensor” and can recognize human voices and can have conversations with users…The stuffed doll-like-robot, 70cm tall and weighing 4kg, is designed for people involved in long distance relationships and solitary lives ….

   Creepy Japanese Doll Impersonates its Owner

Hook it up via ethernet (no Wi-Fi!) and it can read web content to you via RSS feed. So, answer our question: Is it creepy enough for you? No? Then try this.
