UNIQLO sells very cost-effective clothes in Japan taking great care in the quality of workmanship. Their clothes never have any frayed seams or lumpy stitching. Sadly for me in Japan, UNIQLO sizes stop at Japanese “LL” which is between American size M and L and UNIQLO is designed for very short people.
UNIQLO overseas charges nearly twice the price for the same clothes they sell in Japan. UNIQLO overseas is marketed as an upscale mass-market brand like Abercrombie & Fitch. Basically, I hate rip offs like that and would never pay double just because it is “Japanese” (almost all UNIQLO items are made in China).
