Maybe someone should clue them about the bleeding edge technology called "vents".</blockquote> Japan hasn't invented "vents" yet (which goes with not inventing building insulation and weatherstripping).

Even educated health professionals here in Japan don't understand why unvented, CARCINOGENIC, kerosene heaters are banned in the Real World for use in confined hog and battery chicken operations.

Maybe someone should clue them about the bleeding edge technology called "vents".

In my small country town the only way I found to get me a carbon monoxid poisonning was to use all night long those old kerozene heaters.

Somebody will have to explain me why the fan kerosene heaters who have C0/CO2 alert monitors stop every 3 hours while the old ones can vomit for as long as the tank contain gas...

There's nothing like waking up with the biggest hangover ever and your eyes trying to run away from your head. But at least you got a trip to the ER... Me I got a check by my ob-gyn of a wife resulting in a statement sounding like "you're not dead, no need to go to hospital"
