Sharp solar car’s super-solar cells
I remember back when I was in school that excellent solar cell conversion efficiency was only 6-13%, not 30%….Sadly that was 40 years ago.

I have noticed that over the years the overall appearance of solar cars have stopped looking like an exciting collection of geeky Wacky Racers and all the team’s cars follow the same body design, yawn.

Yeah… the laws of aerodynamics are the same for all brand and produce usually quite boring cars… (Prius, Insight)… Same goes for planes… did you notice the overall lack of originality in Boeing and Airbus offerings ? Like if they didn’t really care aboot companies desires for outstanding aesthetics despite the cost…
