Full Gigantor erection in Kobe Japan
I first reported in June of 2007 about the Gigantor erection in Kobe Japan. Well, now Gigantor’s fully erected.

According to Kyodo Press, Gigantor aka Tetsujin 28-go (Iron Man No. 28) was unveiled in Kobe’s Nagata Ward. The 15-meter-tall steel statue weighs in at 50 tons of fun. Unlike Tokyo’s lame Gundam statue (3Yen) that was torn down after a few months for no reason, Kobe’s Gigantor will remain standing as a permanent installation.

Too bad Yokoyama didn’t live to see this. (Though, if I understand correctly, he died because he was smoking in bed, so he didn’t exactly go out in a, err, blaze of glory.)

Well at least he was DEAD DRUNK when he passed out smoking in bed.
