I just made duplicate comment with youtube url link. If possible, please try to include the above youtube clip as I think its pretty funny for your current “vacation” post DESU NE.
I used to live up the road from the SHINING HOTEL in Estes Park Colorado…It’s really not very scary and it is NOT remote at all. The real name is the Stanely Hotel and it had America’s first limousine bus service using Stanely Steamers(tm) year-round starting in 1912.
Jack/Taro: Mr. Grady. You were the caretaker here. I recognize ya. I saw your picture in the newspapers. You, uh, chopped your wife and daughters up into little bits. And then you blew your brains out.
Grady: That’s strange, sir. I don’t have any recollection of that at all.
Jack/Taro: Mr. Grady. You were the caretaker here.
Grady: I’m sorry to defer with you, sir. But you are the caretaker. You’ve always been the caretaker. I should know, sir. I’ve always been here.
Steven KIng wrote the Shining but he NEVER stayed overnight in the hotel until more than a decade after writing the book. It was too expensive for King on his part-time schoolteacher budget at the time. Also the Kurbrick’s version is 10 times better than the made-for-TV tripe made by King himself (although I casting of Scatman Crothers as Grady was great)
I used to play with “CUJO” the killer St.Bernard of King’s novel’Cujo’. Cujo’s real name was ‘Bobo’ and he was the bad-ass guard dog of the towing impound lot of the Citco gas station in the mountain town of Frisco Colorado. o
Also since it’s relevant to the comments, I actually tried writing an evil pongi ramble the other day but just couldn’t get the drawing right for the life of me (that face mask is one freaky tricky beast).
I’m sure I’ll pump another one out *someday* though, just have to figure out which Robby angle I haven’t touched on yet. (Already done Christmas and Halloween)

They actually let Taro back onto American soil?!?!?
Well here’s hoping you make the best of it and only brutally murder a few people while ominous music plays in the background.
