According to the Mainichi Daily News, these creepy scarecrows the yearly Kakashi Matsuri (Scarecrow Festival) at Shiwafurusato Center in the Iwate Pref. represent from left to right Japan’s ex-Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, ex-Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) Secretary-General Ichiro Ozawa and current Prime Minister Naoto Kan. There is some sort of vile DPJ power-struggle cum vote on September 14th for party control …If only they, “had a brain.”
