Pig Chocolates(?) for Amour du Chocolat in Japan

As Japan women ramp up for frenzy of giving their men Valentine’s chocolates*, I spotted this photo of Japanese chocolatier putting the finishing touches on what appears to be pig-shaped chocolates—These Pig Chocolates must be meant as a gift for a male chauvinist pig boss or boyfriend.

As it turns out that these chocolates are part Takashimaya department store’s Valentine’s Day event ‘Amour du Chocolat’ and specifically the Goncharoff chocolate shop makes all sorts of animal-shaped chocolate truffles, not just pigs.
For more information check out the incongruously iPhone-themed, official website of the “Amour du Chocolat ” of the luxury department store Takashimaya.
