The-rest-of-the-story is that the glamorous photos are of the comedienne Emiko Kawamura (age 31) of the comedy duo “Dandelion,” who is better known for being funny looking. 　Fuji TV staged a video and photo shoot with their campaign girl Kawamura using anime eyes, spray tan, and a revealing bikini to produce, “irresistible excitement.”

Most telling was Fuji TV finally released the video: “Mysterious Beauty” identity of the announcement! Shock Video of Mitokanaito!” in which Ms. Kawamura removes her anime eyes to reveal …

   What could be freakier (and more desired by Japanese girls)?

   My drinking buddy, the infamous Rob Pongi, sent me this heads-up about inventorspot.com’s post: “Girls Get the Anime Look with Extra-Wide Contact Lenses“.
   That is, contact lenses with extra-wide tinted outer ring to give the look of a bigger, wider iris. To quote the sales copy, “Wanna get big, watery shiny eyes without any surgery? CRAVE AND ENVY NO MORE!”
   

   Even better than double-wide contacts are these pasties for the eyes, don’t you think?
   

   I think this proves that the old saying is true: “Idol” hands are the tools of the Devil….
