“Japan” is the keyword of my browser’s starting page, which is set to create an automated photo gallery of Nippon using Daylife.com. The photo page it robo-generates can be surprising.
However, today’s photo mosaic of golfer Ryo Ishikawa and his Japanese compatriots at the 141st Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes is mixed/conflated with photos of the worsening meltdown of the Fukushima Nuclear Reactors (bottom right) and continuing floods and landslides in Kyushu Prefecture that have left 32 dead or missing (StraitsTimes.com).
