The convenience store chain, Larson’s (Google Translate) has started to sell for the next month “Sadorupan” Saddle Pan (Japanese uses the Portugese word for bread “pan”).
The bread—actually a cake filled with cream custard and chocolate cream made in the shape of a racing bicycle saddle–is meant to honor the sport of cycling and the ongoing All Japan Intercollegiate Bicycle Racing Tournament being held in Kagoshima Prefecture of Kyushu, Japan.
