Back in December of 2009 I reported how Shibuya’s Moai Moyai was stolen and then later returned (see right).
Well, now it seems that mysterious Moai Moyai has marched off on its own. ↓
(via Mulboyne) Breaking News: In a totally unexpected development, seemingly on its own in the dark of the night, the six ton Moyai statue in Shibuya, commemorating Tokyo’s incorporation of Niijima Island (Wiki), has moved 4.5 meters in the dead of the night!
Note: When Easter Islanders are asked about the Moai of Rapa Nui, traditionally they always say that, “The statues walked.”
