Not to be confused with Japanese Rain Goggles (3Yen / 2010-11-24 ) shown above, Japan’s hi-tech wundercompany, Canon, has unveiled their newest prototype of ‘MR Goggles.” These Mixed Reality Googles are what Canon wants us to wear so can merge our view of the real and virtual worlds. Ri-i-i-ght, as if Google google glass logoglass isn’t dorky enough…

The Daily Mail (19 June 2013) has new details about this the 3D virtual reality headgear. In reality, however, Canon has been flogging this technology for several years without gaining much traction in the marketplace—Maybe its $100,000+ price tag may have something to do with it.
