World’s lightest luxury glasses type terminal
Osaka software maker, Westunitis Company, plans to release in July its inforod—the “world’s lightest” wearable computer eyeglasses that weighs only 48 grams. The inforod works as a computer micro-terminal with a tiny built-in screen that can guide users in the proper usage of equipment and help with detailed procedures. It could reduce the risk of incorrectly performing complex industrial work and to help with healthcare procedures. Part of the frames of the eyeglasses functions like in the PC mouse, which you can touch to make a selection. The price is expected to be 135,000 yen or about $1,316 USD.
