*Tokyo is starting to suffer from severe labor shortages in the construction industry because everyone is over 60 years old. The upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics may fall apart because there is nobody young enough to build the new sports venues. Refer to:

  1. The places that generally have labor shortages are the ones that want part-timers and contract workers, usually with crap pay and benefits. Is anyone surprised that people aren’t rushing to work in Fukushima, or with Sukiya or Peach? (btw Peach Aviation basically only hires contract workers).
